In The Fullness of Time Song for Christmas Day

Gal. 4:4-5 for December 25, 2018

But when the time had fully come, God sent his Son,

born of a woman, born under law,

to redeem those under law,

we might receive the full rights of sons.

Because you are sons [adopted children of God],

God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts,

the Spirit who calls out “Abba Father.”

So you are no longer a slave [to sin], but a son,

and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir.

Galatians 4:4-7 (NIV)

What a glorious Christmas present–to be adopted as God’s children! He holds us in his hands. I tried to capture this feeling in the following song. I’m sorry I couldn’t get the music notation transferred from Finale to the blog. But if you want it let me know and I can send it to you.

In the Fullness of Time

Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.

In the fullness of time, God has sent forth his Son whom the prophets foretold, long awaited One.

  1. For we were bound deep in our sin, darkness had reigned without and within. We needed light to lead the way. Jesus has freed us, he’s our hope and stay.

In the fullness of time, God has sent forth his son, whom the prophets foretold. Long awaited One.

2. God took on flesh, born as a man, born to fulfill the heavenly plan. Jesus atoned for all our sins; we can be free and pure and whole within.

In the fullness of time, God has sent forth his son, whom the prophets foretold. Long awaited One.

3. Now we are free. Jesus our Lord renews our minds through his holy Word. In all we say, in all we do let’s tell the world “He longs to save you, too.”

Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia

Alleluia, alleluia.
