Heading into Easter Weekend,
I wonder how many people “celebrate” Easter without knowing Jesus Christ,
the one whom Easter is all about. I am attempting to write a book about his divine claims,
and I felt the prompting to give you the introduction to the book. Please let me know
what you think, whether positive or negative.
Why Should It Matter?
Down through the centuries for the past 2000 years or so, people have had a decision to make: “Should I believe in Jesus Christ or not?” Jesus made many claims and statements that are recorded in the Bible’s New Testament. Did he or did he not tell the truth?
We hear reports that many who had never heard of Jesus before believe in him when they see a Jesus Film (or other) video about him. Billions today believe in him, yet many others, even those who have had access all their lives to churches and Bibles and other books about him, resist believing in him.
Who was and is Jesus Christ? Why is it important to find out? Why do so many Christians recommend that we believe in him and follow him?
In this book, I want to show why it is important and why more than two billion other Christians probably agree with me.
Why should it matter to you whether you accept Jesus Christ as who he claimed to be and whether you believe what he taught through words and actions, or not?
I believe it is a matter of life or death.
Does it Matter What You Believe?
