- Most of us need hope from time to time. Jesus gives the hope that is genuine. The Bible says, “But to you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in his wings” (Malachi 4:2). This song shows how God gives us hope that heals our troubled souls and enables us to share that hope with others.
Hope Renewed

Despair is a sickness making everything black.
Nothing seems to be worth any effort at all; What’s the use to try?
And then I see Jesus—see him weeping for me.
Since he loves me so, why should I give up? He gives me new hope.
