This phrase about soaring has intrigued me. I think of an eagle soaring high in the sky. It looks so free—not a care in the world. Soaring denotes freedom. We appreciate the freedom in our country, especially as we celebrate the 250th anniversary.
Just thinking about the idea of soaring with God can give a feeling of joy and peace. If we are united with Christ, we can soar above problems, rejoicing in his power, in his love.
In my Father’s Day Praise song (Now I Will Soar), I present the idea that because God has adopted us as his children, has justified, sanctified and purified us through faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ, we can soar. We can have the joy of knowing we are forgiven and loved by God.
Other songs I’ve written about soaring are: Love Makes Me Soar and To Him Who Rides Upon the Clouds. You can hear these songs at my You Tube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@judithvanderwege9055.
“The Power of Your Love” is a beautiful contemporary Christian song by Hillsong about soaring on God’s Love. You can find it by typing the title into the google search bar.
