I’ve always been fascinated by stories of transformed lives of people who have come to faith in Christ Jesus. First of all, the Biblical story of Saul who arrested and murdered Christians before Jesus knocked him off his high horse with his light and made himself known to Saul long after Jesus’ resurrection from the dead. Saul became known as Paul the Apostle who later traveled over much of the known world to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus and to help innumerable others to become Christians.
Another fascinating story I read was Run Baby Run about Nicky Cruz. He used to be a vicious gangleader who became a Christian under the influence of David Wilkerson who wrote The Cross and the Switchblade. Nicki later became an evangelist himself.
Bill and Gloria Gaither wrote a song about transformation in various lives. Following are two videos of this, one by the Gaither vocal band and the other by the Hoppers. I hope you enjoy them.
