Since Thanksgiving was yesterday, I’d like to share my favorite ‘Thanks’ song. I think the words are profound. Are there times in your life for which you are not thankful? The Apostle Paul tells us in Ephesians 5:20 to make melody in our hearts to the Lord, “always and for everything, giving thanks in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father.”
Merlin Carothers is an author who has written Prison to Praise, Power in Praise, and Victory on Praise Mountain, as well as others. These books present the idea that if you praise (or thank) God for everything in your life, it shows you trust him and then he is able to use your problems for your good.
