How Can I Glorify You, Lord?

       All that God has created can glorify Him if they–and we–function as we were meant from the beginning to function. Unlike nature, Humans are hampered by sin. But if we repent and worship God, he releases us from the bondage of sin and enables us not only to walk with him, but also express our love for Him.

 

How Can I Glorify You, Lord?

 

Trees can glorify with ease by simply dancing in the breeze.

Sunshine brightens up our way. It gives us light to walk all day.

Corn grows tall and yields its food. The birds still sing that God is good.

.

But what can I, your child, do to show you how much I love you?

                                                                                                        .

Have you equipped me by your love to praise and worship God above?

Have you released me by your grace to walk in love and see your face?

When I obey and worship you, I know that shows that I love you.

.

So strengthen me and banish sin to make me pure and whole within.

I choose to dance with pure delight, to walk forever in your light,

to use my gifts as they are meant to show your goodness, Lord—

                                                                                                      .

Because I love you, Lord.
