“Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth.
Sing to the LORD, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day.
Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.
For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods.
Psalm 96:1-4

As I was growing up, attending the Lutheran Church, we often sang the wonderful hymn, “Wonderful Words of Life.”
Recently, I was asked to write extra verses for it. Following is the youtube link for the original song, followed by my verses.

Jesus’ Call (Based on Mt.28:19-20)
.
Who will answer the Master’s call. Who will respond to him.
Jesus wants us to tell them all he came to rescue them.
Jesus, Son of God, Savior, Merciful Redeemer,
He is our Lord, he is our King; we want to do his will.
He is our Lord, he is our King; we want to do his will.
.
Father gave him authority in all of Heav’n and earth.
Therefore, he has commanded us, “Go,” for they need new birth.
“Go, and I will be with you; make them all my disciples.
Baptizing them all in our name: Father and Son and Holy Ghost.
Tell them the words I have told you. I will be with you all.”
