I am grateful this Father’s Day and every day for an earthly father who loved me and enabled me to attend church, SS, Bible Camp, and encouraged other healthy activities like playing accordion, etc. Not all have good earthly Fathers, but through Christ Jesus we can all have a gracious and loving heavenly Father. This song was composed in gratitude for my heavenly Father. The YouTube link for the melody is https://youtu.be/q8oJW4Ibuxg. I am not a professional singer, besides being 83 years old with allergies, but at least this recording gives the melody for the song. I hope you will praise God with me.
Now I Will Soar
(A Father’s Day Praise Song)
.
1. Father, Heavenly Father! I lift my heart to you in praise this Father’s Day.
Father, I call you my Father, for you’ve adopted me into your holy family.
Now I will soar on the wings of the breeze you’ve created for me
because you love me and hold me close to you.
For you’ve redeemed me, justified, sanctified and purified me
and how I love you, rejoicing in peace you’ve given to me.
.
2. Father, Heavenly Father, thank you for answering my prayers the way that you know is best.
Father, I trust you my Father! You’re kind and merciful, tender, forgiving and patient with me.
Now I will soar on the wings of the breeze you’ve created for me
because you love me and hold me close to you.
For you’ve redeemed me, justified, sanctified and purified me
and how I love you, rejoicing in peace you’ve given to me.
.
Now I will soar on the wings of the breeze you’ve created for me
because you love me and hold me close to you.
For you’ve redeemed me, justified, sanctified and purified me
and how I love you, rejoicing in peace you’ve given to me.
and how I love you, rejoicing in peace you’ve given to me.
